BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Builds close relationships with clients (direct and indirect), with the objective of making our brands the preferred choice among specification and design customers
  • Manages the sales process from lead generation through qualification before handing over to the Business Account Executive (BAEs)
  • Contacts and meets with new prospective clients to establish positive rapport and convert them into opportunities
  • Organizes and schedules product presentations with consultants, designers, developers, contractors, owners, architects, and other related construction entities
  • Updates leads and projects in the Internal system to maintain a healthy and monitored sales pipeline
  • Coordinates with the internal departments for required IES files, brochures, and budgetary costs for consultants and architects
  • Provide regular prospect reports and status updates to Management
  • Identify new business and bidding opportunities through market research
  • Collaborate with the BAEs on client engagement and project development
  • Ensure timely follow-ups on client inquiries, feedback, and project updates

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good understanding of market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
